It's one thing to be passionate about a topic that helps others, but creating an entire Non-Profit Organization from the ground up to help raise awareness and funds for that passion takes it to a whole new level. In this episode, Meghan Decker, younger sister to Tyler Decker, discusses how she launched Tyler's Tribe after her brother (26 at the time) was diagnosed with ALS.
Finding the beautiful within the not so beautiful has been Meghan's way from the beginning. She talks about the challenges in starting the NPO Tyler's Tribe, while also discussing the benefits that come with having one. She helps raise awareness about what ALS is, the treatments currently available, and how we can all be part of this organization. Listen to this episode and learn more about how Meghan takes matters into her own hands by being such a light in this community and giving people the resources they need to help get involved to find a cure for this horrible disease.
